Hull City

Hull City
Hull City football team, who now plays at the English Premier League, had many ups and down throughout its history, working hard to gain a respectable title as a serious football team, a title gained only in the 2007/2008 season. With complications trying to gain membership for the main Football Leagues, the team now known as Hull City played in "friendly" matches for many seasons, until in 1905 when the team were admitted to the Football League Second Division.

After complications with players, the team managers and stadium troubles, Hull City have now established themselves in the recently established KC Stadium, since 2002. After the establishing of the team, they began playing at The Boulevard before 1906 when the team moved to Anlaby Road. The threats of building railway services through the ground encouraged Hull City to once again relocate, and even to suffer a 3 year period of 3 years where no work took place. After World War 2 and the realisation that Anlaby Road had been damaged by the bombing, and having to pay for repairs, the team relocated again, but this time, moving back to The Boulevard, which must have almost given the players a feeling of home.

Current Hull City stadium, KC Stadium, which can hold 25,400 people, won the 2006 award for "Best Ground" at the Football League Awards, giving the team confidence in their new home. Although the team is never as high up in the League Tables as teams like Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United, Hull City have remained a prominent team in the Premier League. With the team having many ups and downs, with regards to the many stadium alterations, and the constant altering of players, each match is guaranteed to be interesting and exciting.
