Espanyol
Reial Club Deprotiu Espanyol de Barcelona, also known as "Espanyol", is a football club from Barcelona that plays in the Spanish League. The club was founded on October 28th 1990 by a few students from Barcelona University. The first president of the club was Rodriguez Ruiz who was one of the club's founders. The clubs first name was "Sociedad Espanola de Futball" and the team's uniform was yellow.

A year after its founding, the club's name changed to Club Espanol du Futball and the uniform changed its colors to white shirts and blue or black shorts. 8 years later, the club's name was changed again, this time to "Deportivo de Espanol" and the shirts were changed to vertical stripes of blue and white. In 1912 king Alfonso the 13th allowed to club to carry his name and the club's name was changed again to "Real Club Deoportivo Espanol". Their first stadium was Estadi de Sarria, they then moved to Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys on Mutjuic, and are now playing at Estadi Conerlla-El Prat, between Cornella de Llobregat and El Prat de Llobregat.

During its first years, the club participated in Copa Del Rey and the Catalonia Championship, where it won 7 times. In 1929 it was one of the founding clubs of La Liga, The Spanish League. That same year, the team won Copa Del Rey with a 2-1 over Real Madrid at the game that took place at Mastalla Stadium. After Alfonso the 13th death, the word "Real" was taken off the club's name, but after 1939's civil Spanish War, the word was returned and was not changed since then.
