A controversial win for Real Madrid

A controversial win for Real Madrid
Real Madrid has defeated Bayern Munich 4-2, as Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick to take his Champions League tally to 100 goals, controversially overcoming Bayern Munich in extra time to rise to the semi-finals. During the course of the game, Real Madrid benefited from two debatable decisions by Hungarian referee Viktor Kassai and his officials, with a second yellow card booking given to Chile midfielder Vidal, after what most would consider a clean sliding tackle on Real Madrid substitute Asensio, as well as a goal from Ronaldo who was visibly standing offside before meeting a pass from Ramos and scoring.
Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti's post game response, indicated his dissatisfaction with the standard of the Hungarian referee Viktor Kassai, stating that "In a quarter-final you have to put a better referee, or it is the moment to introduce video refereeing". Real Madrid's manager on the other hand, Zinedine Zidane, stated that he prefers to not get involved with whether a decision from the referee is or isn't correct, but is confident that even if Ronaldo's goal was offside, the outcome of the match would not have been affected.
Despite this controversial win, no one can deny the prowess of Real Madrid as they make the Champions League semi-final for the seventh successive year. Want to see Real Madrid play live in the Champions League semi-final? Book your Real Madrid tickets today from Doctorticket!
