Romelu Lukaku
Professional Belgian Footballer, Romelu Menama Lukaku, was born 13 May 1993 and plays striker for the Belgium national team as well as Premier League club Everton. Lukaku has had a very successful career so far, as one of only five players to have scored 50 Premier League goals before his 23rd birthday. Lukaku is a left-footed player has been known to use his physicality to get around defenders. Lukaku was born in the northern Belgian city of Antwerp to Congolese parents. Football has had a large influence on Lukaku's life, with his father, younger brother and cousin all playing or having played football on a professional or semi-professional level. Lukaku has stated that his childhood hero and biggest idol was Didier Drogba.

After kicking off his career with local Belgian club Rupel Boom, Lukaku went on to join Lierse, and then Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League in 2006. He made his professional debut at age 16 while still at school, and became the top 2009-10 scorer in Belgium. In the 2011 summer transfer window, Lukaku join Premier League club Chelsea, where he did not appear regularly for the club and spent the following two seasons playing for West Bromwich Albion and Everton, before signing with Everton for a club record £28 million in 2014. Lukaku made his senior international debut for Belgium in 2010, and has since earned over 50 caps with the inclusion of his appearances at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2016.
