Brighton and Hove Albion FC

Brighton and Hove Albion FC
The eyes of football fans all over the world and in England in particular, are focused now on the seagulls of Brighton - after 34 years of exile and treading in the second, third and fourth English leagues, and even almost a decline to the amateur League, Brighton is proudly back in the ranks of the English Premier League. The club began its career in 1900 and only in 1979 managed to qualify for the first time in the Premier League. The success was quite short and after only four years, Brighton went back to the relegation. Since then, the Seagulls have tried to climb up to the top of the Premier League Table, and were even close to it - In 2016, they played against Middlesbrough, a game that ended in a draw, while winning would secure their place in the Premier League.
The years that have passed have not been easy for Brighton - apart from a series of spectacular failures that almost caused it the football league, meaning returning to the embarrassing status of an "amateur league", Brighton was badly hit by the financial crisis and in 1997 it was forced to sell its home stadium - the Goldstone Ground. By 1999 the team had to share a stadium with the Gillingham team, and then, when it returned to play in Brighton, it had to play in an athletics stadium, unsuitable for football. Only in 2011 did Brighton receive a new home stadium - Palmer Stadium, where the English Premier League will be hosted for the first time in August 2017.
Among the prominent players of Brighton, you can find some Israeli pride - Tomer Chemed and Biram Kal, both of whom joined the team in 2015. Tomer Hemed takes up the position of the striker in the group while Biram Kahl is the back midfielder. In addition to Brighton, you can, of course, still see the two in Israel's national team uniforms, in international games. Will the Brighton be able to maintain its place in the Premier League? Want to come and encourage its players? Like to see an underdog like Brighton who manages to climb to the top and maybe even pick the most important prizes in the football world?
