Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich
German Bundesliga's star, Bayern Munich, holds a number of unimaginable titles and is rightly considered one of the best football teams in Germany in general and in Europe in particular. Founded in 1900, the team has won the German championship (27 times), the German Cup (18), the German Super Cup (6) and the German League Cup (6). In addition, the team has won 5 times the Champions League, the UEFA Cup, the European Super Cup and more - Bayern Munich is simply a team that has all possible titles, and that alongside Juventus, Chelsea, Manchester United and Ajax have indeed received every title and trophy available for an European team to win (as of 2017).
The German League, Bundesliga, was established only in 1963 and two years later Bayern Munich qualified for its ranks, which it never left. During the years the team has played in the league, Bayern Munich knew ups and downs, replaced coaches, acquired players, dealt with scandals and outrages, and even changed its game method (switched to Tiki Taka - a method of playing with the ball as much as possible, without giving the other team the possibility of touching it), and all this in order to continue to maintain the level and break more records.
The Jewish connection of Bayern Munich is particularly strong, and there's a reason why the club was nicknamed "the Jewish club." Not only were 2 of the 17 founders of Bayern Munich Jewish, alongside of many of its coaches and managers in its history, but also, the leading player and later president of the group - Kurt Landauer - was a Jew who was considered the "living spirit" of Bayern Munich from the very beginning until after World War II. Landauer led Bayern Munich to the first victory in the German Championship and his contribution to the team, both as a player as well as a coach, was enormous. When the Nazis arise to power they locked Landau, but he managed to escape to Switzerland and to return to his post position as president of Bayern Munich.

The home stadium of Bayern Munich is called Allianz Arena. It was inaugurated in 2006 and is used by both Bayern Munich and Munich 1860. The club can accommodate over 70,000 fans, and also includes a food complex, 3-day classes, rooms for groups and coaches, and more. Among the outstanding players of Bayern Munich, you will see Manuel Neuer, Thomas Muller, David Alava and many others.
